Searching for a school for your child can be a daunting task. As a parent, each major decision you make affects your child as they develop into the person you want them to become. A mother’s duty is to make sure that her child receives the same amount of love, discipline and lessons in school as he might receive at home. The beauty of Clayton is that it balances the feel of big school where my children is taught the lessons that would prepare them for their future and a preschool where they are known by name by all the teachers down to the guards.

Leaving Clayton is bittersweet for us. It means that our children have reached their full potential and are ready to go to big school. On the other hand, it feels that we are leaving a family we have grown to love and cherish. We understand though that this is the evolution of life. We need to step out and grow, spread their wings as they say and by doing that, may our children be good examples of Clayton graduates through the lessons they have espoused upon us. So thank you Clayton for those wonderful years and may you mold more young minds and hearts as you have our children.

When we were looking for a preschool for our eldest son Cole, at the top of our list was a school that can teach Chinese-Mandarin to a growing toddler. Cole, after finishing in Clayton, is currently enjoying 1st Grade in a big school, while our youngest, Yuan, is attending Nursery 2 here at Clayton.
Being a progressive preschool, we admire all the personnel – from top to bottom – who surely will get to know each student first hand. They are all approachable and will help the best they can. Teaching is personalized to whatever approach the child may need. Their activities - from field trips to gatherings - are all fun and age appropriate.

Children actively participate in a fun learning environment where a variety of experiences are integrated into a central theme. Each session includes elements of music, instruments, puppets, imaginary play, and movement to stimulate your child’s senses.
Classes for PuPs are offered 3 days per week for 2 hour sessions.
The class is offered either in English or Mandarin.
Designed for children 1.10 – 2.9 years old; unaccompanied class.
Young children of this rage are starting to assert their individuality and independence. The Pre-Nursery class is designed to support the children’s growing needs for autonomy and self-control while being guided & supported by our qualified teachers.
Classes are conducted for 2 hours with 30 minutes optional Mandarin, five times (5x) a week.
The preschool curriculum focuses on providing the children with opportunities to develop physically, socially, emotionally, and cognitively. It is planned around the children’s interests and curiosity, leading to discovery learning and active hands-on explorations.
Catering to children aged 2 years and 10 months to 6 years old, an innovative integrated curriculum is designed appropriately according to the learner’s developmental abilities.
For children 2.10 – 3.9 years old.
Classes for N1 are offered 5 days a week (Monday to Friday) for 2 hours and 50 minute sessions with 50 minutes Mandarin; or English class only for 2 hours.
For children 3.10 – 4.9 years old.
Classes for N2 are offered 5 days a week (Monday to Friday) for 3 hours and 20 minute sessions with 50 minutes Mandarin; or English class only for 2 ½ hours
For children 4.10 – 5.9 years old.
The Kindergarten curriculum will focus on formative academic skills in reading, writing and mathematics, while at the same time having a substantial learning period which is based on CLC’s core learning expertise, through: playing, communication with other children and adults and working with educational materials.
Kindergarten classes will be Mondays to Fridays, for 3 hours and 30 minute sessions with 1 hour Mandarin; or English class only for 2 ½ hours.
